I’m excited
So for those of you who don’t know and use Ubuntu September 2nd through 4th is the Ubuntu Global Jam. The entire goal of Ubuntu Global Jam is to improve Ubuntu Linux. In case you didn’t know I freaking LOVE Ubuntu. So the concept is fans, contributors and developers alike get together in a semi-party atmosphere and fix many of the issues with the OS currently.
But for some reason
The Georgia LoCo team is doing nothing, at least according to the mailing list about it. This makes me upset, I would have totally attended this event, were it to happen, but as it seems there is an issue sorting out a venue. So I suppose I will just spend time lurking IRC those days and see if anything interesting happens there.
What are you doing?
If you are doing something for Ubuntu Global Jam I would love to hear about it feel free to share in the comments section.

Road trip?
Meh, not worth it. Who knows , the LoCo manager sent an email this morning about trying to get something organized so maybe it will happen
